Introducing our bride of the month for November, Brigid Agnew.
What a modern day romance Brigid and husband Rohan have celebrated. They met online and from their first meeting, knew they were embarking upon something special. With the birth of their son Patrick in the first 12 months of their relationship things were moving quickly, however both were absolutely thrilled.
Whilst on a stroll through the Adelaide hills Brigid and Rohan stumbled upon Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Stirling, and it was settled, this quaint church was where they were to be married. Wishing to embrace Rohans Scottish heritage a theme was quickly chosen, and Brigid highlighted that that was one of her favourite aspects of the day. Rohan and his groomsmen wore traditional kilts (and evidently so did a lot of the guests), and it was a particularly special memory for Brigid, seeing her man waiting for her at the altar.
Brigid chose to wear our ‘Angelina’ dress with its delicate lace, its natural femininity, and the subtle pearl buttons down the back that finish the gown perfectly. She mentioned the hardest part of the dress shopping for her was deciding which dress she loved most, and this gown was it.
The Bridal party wandered through the picturesque town of Piccadilly for photos with photographer Bridget Quain, before beginning the reception at Mount Lofty House. The traditions continued through what sounds to have been a wildly festive evening. A Scottish Ceilidh dance was performed and there was a traditional fiddle group for entertainment.
What a beautiful celebration this must have been, highlighting their culture, and their love for one another.
Thank you so much for sharing your day with us Brigid. Wishing you and Rohan a beautiful life together.
