Calèche Bride Angela

ANGELA + DION

Lets start at the beginning, when and how did you and your partner meet?
Dion and I met 6 years ago when both the companies where we worked merged together.

Tell us about the proposal ..
We had just arrived in Melbourne for a holiday, Dion had pre planned with the staff at The Crown to have champagne and rose petals starting from the entrance of the hotel room to the bedroom where there was a love heart of rose petals on the bed when he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I burst into tears and hugged him instantly before telling him YES!!!

The Dress! Tell us about your experience finding the dress .. How did you decide on the one?
I knew the dress was the one as soon as I put it on. My sister was with me and she said even said that is just so you! I then also decided to add an over skirt to wear for the church and throughout the day. I love a classic and timeless look and I knew the dress I chose was exactly that!

Can you give us some details on your wedding location?
Our wedding ceremony was held at the Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church and Reception was held at the National wine centre.

What was your favourite moment of the day?
My favourite moment was arriving at the church and seeing Dion for the first time on our special day!

Lastly, is there any advice or words of wisdom you have for future brides?
Enjoy every single second of your day! I was relaxed the whole day and didn’t stress about anything and look back and think how perfect the day was – it goes by very quick!
