One of our favourite parts of what we do at Calèche is bringing our collections to life through a campaign photoshoot. The La Dolce Vita collection is a personal love story about slowing down to richly enjoy the romance and live the sweet life. There is an effortless confidence in the smile or laugh of an Italian woman and this is exactly what Calèche set out to capture for the La Dolce Vita shoot. So on a sunny Monday morning in late August, our incredible team of creatives came together to bring the essence of Italy to the streets of Adelaide.
With Haley Renee behind the lens the team gave onlookers in Prospect, Adelaide, a show. For the first half of the shoot the team was based in Cafe di Roma in Prospect, giving the perfect setting for all of the mornings shots. Georgia danced and laughed while she sipped coffee and twirled pasta around her fork, while waiting for her hubby-to-be. Later, moving outside to eat gelati amongst passers-by on the sidewalk.
Model Georgia Bess of Finesse Models is snapped by Haley, leaning against a bright red vespa in a sleek figure-hugging satin gown, out the front of popular Italian restaurant Café di Roma – creating one of our favourite shots to date.
Moving into the city-centre, Georgia waits gracefully for her hubby-to-be outside the iconic sandstone buildings of North Terrace, catching the attention of more onlookers passing by. As the light of the day begins to fade the bride is picked up by her love and whisked away on a light green vespa.
