APPOINTMENTS

Do I need to book an appointment?

We always recommend booking an appointment. We cannot always guarantee that there will be a fitting room and consultant available for walk ins. If you book an appointment you are securing your spot and you are our priority!

How long is an appointment?

If you book an appointment you will have one and half hours with one of our consultants.

Can I take photos during my appointment?

Unfortunately, no. As all our designs are original, we ask that you do not take photos of our gowns during your appointment. However, images of all our gowns are available on our website for you to see.

GOWNS

What is the price range for your gowns?

Our made to measure gowns range in price anywhere from $3,000 to $9,000. The average price of our gowns being between $4,000 and $6,000.

What is the difference between made to measure and buying off the rack?

We design and make all our gowns in our Norwood boutique. This gives us the luxury of being able to fit your gown to you. If you see a gown off the rack that you like you can either have it completely remade made to fit you, have it remade in a standard size or buy the sample. If you have it remade to fit you, we call that made to measure. If you choose to buy a sample gown and have it altered, we call that off the rack.

Can I alter the design off an off the rack gown?

Absolutely. Our sample gowns are there to inspire you. You can see what shape you fall in love with and then customize it to become your dream gown.

What is the size range of your sample gowns?

We have a range of different sizes in our boutique for you to try. Ranging from a size 6 to size 22.

PROCESS

What is the lead time for a Calèche gown?

At Calèche bridal house we offer an exclusive, individual made-to-measure experience. We work with all of our brides throughout a 8-12 month long fitting process to ensure the perfect fit. Therefore, we encourage a minimum of 8 months for the made to measure process.

Unfortunately, we are fully booked for January, Febraury, March, April, October and November 2022 weddings. To ensure your spot with us we highly recommend starting your dress journey at least one year before your wedding date. 

What if I have a short timeline?

As we make the gowns in our Adelaide boutique, we are able to work within a short timeframe if need be. However, this is dependent on our in-house fabric stock and the production workload of our workroom.

How many fittings will I have?

During your made to measure process we will see you for a total of 3-4 fittings, not including your measurements appointment. These fittings take place in the four months leading up to your wedding day, with the final fitting taking place the week before.

COVID-19

How many guests can I bring with me to my appointment?

Due to recently increased social restrictions we ask that you bring no more than TWO guest with you to your consultation appointment and ONE guest to your fitting. Masks are mandatory while inside our boutique for all except children under 12. This is completely subject to person per space requirements and so is frequently changing. Please check here as close to your appointment as possible to ensure you are up to date.

Will COVID affect my dress process?

We work closely with our brides during the dress making process and understand the added stress and pressure that COVID delays bring to your wedding day. As an Australian Made company, we have remained unaffected by international shipping and manufacturing delays. This has been an absolute blessing during the past year for both us and our brides.

What are your business hygiene practices to minimize the risk of COVID?

Upon entering Calèche you must sign in using your COVIDSafe App. We ensure to clean the fitting room space after each consultation. We encourage the use of hand sanitizer when entering and leaving and face masks are optional. If you are feeling unwell please reschedule your appointment.
